Below are the answers to the questions you are curious about. If you do not have an answer to the question you are wondering, you can ask me a question using the form on the side.
HOW LONG DOES THE OPERATION TAKE? HOW DO YOU PERFORM THE OPERATION?
Operation usually takes about 1-2 hours, by general anesthesia. You will be asleep during the operation.
CAN I RETURN HOME THE SAME DAY?
Most probably, yes.
DO YOU USE TAMPON INSIDE THE NOSE?
No, I use silicon-based support material in the shape of half moon that is placed inside the nose and they can be easily removed without pain 2-7 days after surgery. They are not discomforting in normal circumstances.
HOW MANY DAYS OF REST WILL I NEED?
I can easily say that, one week rest will be enough.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PERFORMING RHINOPLASTY?
For 26 years, I have been working on aesthetic nose surgery.
WHAT KIND OF A NOSE DO YOU PLAN ON MAKING? DO YOU USE COMPUTER ANALYSIS?
I will carefully plan and aim to make a nose that fulfills your expectations, free of functioning problems, natural, firm looking, in proportion with your face. I do use computer analysis with my patients before the operation.
Normally I don’t share the image of the analysis with my patient before surgery but in certain cases I take a different approach. Sometimes I ask my patient to show me his/her visual analysis of what they wish to see. Then I give my own expertise and advice based on that analysis, and create my own analysis and remind to my patient to make sure that, there may be slight differences on surgical outcomes compared to visual analysis.
MAY I SEE THE RESULTS OF THE RHINOPLASTY OPERATIONS WHICH YOU’VE PERFORMED?
Yes, after consultation, some before/after images of other patients (with no identity, and with permission) can be shown for information purposes only. However please keep in mind that every nose, skin/internal tissue type is unique and the surgery and healing process will be different in every case.
